About
I'm retired from the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans, but have affiliations with both the University of the Algarve through its marine science centre (CCMAR) and with the Portuguese Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (IPIMAR). I have been working on various EU and other projects, I still write papers, and I publish the Journal of Simple Systems (see Websites for address). I've taught a number of short courses on ecological modelling, fuzzy logic applications to environmental science, and so on. Retirement turns out to be a very busy activity!
